Neon has two eye cameras, one for each eye, running at 200Hz. The cameras are optimally located near the nose to ensure maximum visibility of the eyes across all subjects and minimizing occlusions. You will always have access to all the raw, intermediate, and final data - no special licenses required.

The scene camera deserves special attention. It has a super wide field of view - capturing full HD video with a resolution of 1600 x 1200 px.
Pupil Diameter
Physical pupil size in millimeters at 200 Hz. Single value for both eyes. Data available after uploading to Pupil Cloud.

Full 3D pose - position and orientation - of each eye in absolute units at 200 Hz. Data available after uploading to Pupil Cloud.
Video
The scene camera deserves special attention. It has a super wide field of view - 132° x 81° - capturing full HD video with a resolution of 1600 x 1200 px.
Gaze
Gaze data is available at 200 Hz as 2D points in the scene camera video or as 3D gaze direction originating in the scene camera. Gaze data is also accessible in real-time on other devices!
Fixations
Fixation detection happens automatically in Pupil Cloud based on an algorithm specifically designed for head-mounted eye trackers. The algorithm compensates for head movements, providing higher robustness in dynamic settings compared to other algorithms.
IMU
The integrated 9-DOF IMU allows you to track head movements at 110 Hz and to estimate the absolute pose of the head including its pitch, roll, and yaw.
Audio
Integrated stereo microphones add another dimension to understanding human behavior. Capture high quality audio to gain insight into the relationship between seeing, saying, and listening.
Blinks
Blink events are automatically detected in Pupil Cloud using a custom algorithm. Open source code for the algorithm is coming soon.
